FORMALLY claim your equipment (“assertion of claims”)
The formal process is called “assertion of claims” (“Geltendmachung”). Formally requesting equipment builds up more pressure and enables you to take the second step of filing a lawsuit. In many cases bosses pay after an assertion of claims within a month. So lets make a formal claim! (Below the step-by-step explanation is the template that you need)
- Fill out the german template to formally request equipment
- If you do not understand german then use the english translation to fill out the german original
- You can fill out the template digital (on your computer / mobile) or print it and use a pen
- The deadline should be between 5 and 14 days. 7 days are fine.
- Sign the filled out and printed german template with a pen
- No digital signature!
- Take a photo and make a copy of the filled out german template
- Keep the copy and photo as evidence
- Send the assertion of claims to the company / your boss with proof of delivery
- Send the photo by e-mail, messenger or FAX
- Send the orignal by mail to the boss
- Alternatively: give it to the boss together with a witness
- Please make sure, that you send documents with proof of delivery
